Andrea graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Psychology, and a membership in Psy Chi, the National Honor Society for Psychology. She obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000 and went on to work in community mental health, specializing in adolescent substance abuse, before joining a private practice. After her second child was born Andrea worked in the non-profit sector with parents court ordered for treatment due to charges of child abuse or neglect. Andrea currently owns a practice where she sees individuals and couples; she is a certified Relational Life Therapist and Bootcamp Facilitator through the Relational Life Institute, specializing in high conflict couples, anxiety and depressive disorders, trauma, and helping people get comfortable being human.
